JDIT Blog provides a platform to facilitate the sharing of the published articles from Open Medscience.

Open Medscience publishing is based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom with the aim to address the needs of researchers who specialise in nuclear medicine and medical imaging sciences by providing an open access platform to peer-reviewed articles.

These articles are published in the open access peer-reviewed  Journal of Diagnostic Imaging in Therapy (JDIT).  All published articles on nuclear medicine, medical imaging, diagnostic imaging and medical sciences are available in HTML and PDF formats.

The aim of JDIT Blog is to publish the articles in the format of research, letters, communications, reviews, perspectives and case reports. These articles encompass all aspects relating to the application of diagnostic imaging based on radionuclides, X-rays, magnetic resonance, ultrasound and other innovative methods of nuclear medicine.

The scope of these imaging modalities include: positron emission tomography (PET), single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), hybrid imaging systems, radioguided surgery (RGS) and positron emission mammography (PEM).

Also included is the application of short and long-lived radioisotopes in research and development of imaging agents and targeted therapies.

In addition, the scope will include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US) imaging and planar X-ray (digital, analogue, portable) systems.
